The importance of light and moisture for greenhouse planting.

2020-09-16

The energy source for photosynthesis of plant leaves, and the quality of light conditions directly affect the growth of plants. In spring, the air humidity in the greenhouse is relatively high, the temperature is high, and timely ventilation, cooling, and humidity reduction. The correct way to release the air is to control the temperature at 28~30℃ during the day and 14~16℃ at night. When the temperature in the shed rises to about 30°C, the air will be released, and the ventilation will gradually increase as the outside temperature gradually rises. From 3 to 4 in the afternoon, before the outside temperature drops, close the vents in time. At noon the temperature in the shed is not high or when there is strong wind during the day, generally do not ventilate or less ventilate. When the low temperature at night reaches 15 ℃ or more, ventilate day and night. Different vegetables adapt to different temperatures for normal growth. Too high or too low temperature is not good for flowering and fruiting, and it is easy to form deformed fruits or drop flowers.

Moisture management

Spring is the season when vegetable pests frequently occur, so we should pay attention to water management. In water management, the principle of "appropriate amount and time, rather than too much" should be followed. Generally, the soil is required to be moist and slightly dry, and vegetables in the seedling stage will also cause the seedlings to grow. Seedling vegetables require that the soil be neither dry nor watered.
